The FSF are aware that well over a hundred Leeds supporters were issued with Section 27 Notices in the Sedge Lynn public house, Chorlton, prior to their game against Manchester Utd in January. The FSF have recently taken advice from a solicitor, Darren White, who would be pleased to advise any supporter who would like to bring a claim against Greater Manchester Police since it is clear that the notices were issued unlawfully. As you may know, the FSF successfully referred many Stoke supporters to Liberty after similar happened to them and as a result, nearly £200,000 in compensation was paid to Stoke supporters.
If you are interested in speaking further to Darren please contact Martin O'Hara, deputy chair of FSF Yorkshire Division for further information.
